The softly rounded Mini Ondine base is paired with a perfectly proportioned 20cm Candy Cane drum lampshade, handmade using a carefully selected section of the striped fabric to complement the warm garnet colouring of the glass.

Finished with approximately 2 metres of premium natural linen fabric flex from Italy, this is a complete, ready-to-style table lamp that's particularly suited to bedside tables, shelves, smaller side tables and cosy corners.

DESIGN & STYLE

This set brings together two pieces that were made for colour lovers.

The Mini Ondine's jewel-like garnet recycled glass has a rich warmth that changes beautifully between daylight and evening light. Its compact, softly rounded silhouette makes a statement without requiring a large surface. The individual base is handcrafted from 100% post-consumer recycled glass.

The Candy Cane Lampshade is handmade using premium Villa Nova designer fabric with painterly horizontal stripes across a palette of greens, pinks, corals and reds.

For this set, we specifically select the warmer area of the Candy Cane fabric, emphasising the coral, pink and red tones so that the finished shade beautifully complements the garnet glass beneath it.

Because the exact fabric placement can vary slightly, every finished combination has its own individual character.

THE PERFECT PAIRING

The proportions of this combination are particularly well suited to smaller spaces.

The 20cm drum shade sits beautifully above the compact 20cm-wide Mini Ondine base, giving the finished lamp presence without making it feel oversized.

Colour is what really brings the pairing together. Rather than simply using whichever section of Candy Cane fabric falls naturally onto the shade, we deliberately select an area featuring the warmer pink, coral and red stripes to echo the garnet glass below.

The natural linen flex then adds a soft neutral detail, allowing the glass and designer fabric to remain the focus.

Both elements of this set are handmade and finished to order in our UK studio.

The Candy Cane shade is individually cut and assembled from Villa Nova designer fabric, allowing us to carefully choose the section of the stripe pattern that best complements the garnet base.

The lamp is made using 100% post-consumer recycled glass and professionally converted and wired by us using quality electrical components.

The nature of recycled glass means subtle variations in colour, texture, bubbles and surface character can occur, giving each lamp its own individuality.

FLEX

This set comes with approximately 2 metres of premium natural linen fabric flex from Italy.

We've selected natural linen specifically for this combination. Its warm neutral appearance sits beautifully alongside the garnet glass and softer tones within the Candy Cane fabric without competing with either.

Please note: the flex colour on this curated set is fixed and does not require a flex selection.

LAMPSHADE DIFFUSER

A lampshade diffuser can be added to the 20cm drum shade for a beautifully finished appearance.

The diffuser sits inside the lower opening of the shade, helping to soften the light and conceal the bulb and lamp fitting when viewed from above or across the room.

It's an especially useful finishing touch when the lamp is positioned on a bedside or lower side table where the underside of the shade may be more visible.

Diffusers are available separately.
