Bring dramatic pattern and elegant Japanese-inspired design into your interior with our Mori No. 8 by Saint & Poet Lampshade, handmade to order in our UK studio.
 
Mori No. 8 features graceful cranes amongst slender bamboo stems and scattered foliage, picked out in warm ivory, red and earthy copper tones against a deep charcoal ground. The intricate composition has the feel of traditional East Asian artwork, creating a lampshade that is decorative, sophisticated and full of character.
 
Printed onto a softly textured 90% cotton and 10% linen fabric, the natural texture of the cloth gives the design additional depth while retaining the beautiful detail of the cranes and surrounding foliage.
 
The 28cm × 28cm pattern repeat also gives us excellent scope to carefully position the design when cutting your lampshade. Wherever possible, we select the fabric placement to showcase the cranes and create a beautifully balanced finished shade rather than simply allowing the pattern to fall at random.
Suitable for table lamps, floor lamps and ceiling pendants depending on your chosen shape and orientation.

Because the fabric is 140cm wide, the maximum standard drum size we can produce from this fabric is 40cm diameter.

Please note: the Large Empire & Rectangular  is not available in this particular fabric due to the width required by its shallow tapered profile.

Interior Lining Options
All of our lampshades are supplied with a white lining as standard, creating a clean finish while gently diffusing light to produce a soft, ambient glow.

Complete the Look – Lampshade Diffuser
For drum lampshades, an optional diffuser can be added to create an even more polished and beautifully finished appearance.
The diffuser sits neatly inside the lower opening of the shade, helping to soften the light and conceal the bulb and lamp fitting when viewed from below or across the room.
This can be particularly effective when the lampshade is used on a ceiling pendant or on a lower table or floor lamp where the underside of the shade is more visible.

Complete Your Lampshade – Fitting Guidance
For ceiling lights
Coolie and Empire lampshades require a Spider Adaptor when being used as a ceiling pendant.
For table and floor lamps
Coolie and Empire lampshades require a Lampshade Carrier when being fitted to a table or floor lamp.
Drum and Rectangular lampshades do not require these additional fittings.
