Here to offer some inspo!

Hi and welcome to our first blog. I'm Lucy, co-creator of Thirty Three Interiors and I'm on a mission to get us all living more sustainably, without sacrificing our little bits of luxury.

I have a background in interior design, home staging and textile design, my style varies wildly (thank you Autism), so one day you will get the minimalist vibe from me, and other days will be a full on rainbow and great pattern clashes, it all leads to an interesting life!

You can follow us on Instagram for more of my musings, and witty one liners but back to today, some shade and base combos that I love, and may help you with a design dilemma, you can always DM us on the old grid, or email me, I will always reply.

Our Beautiful Ocean Blue Colour Glass

Some may call it turquoise, and they wouldn't be wrong, but whatever you wanted to call it, it has been one of our bestselling colours since we began this crazy journey.

Below is a real mixture of shades that will compliment this amazing colour, some obvious, and some not so and as always, it's down to what makes your heart beat that little bit faster...

Bring on the dopamine!!

From the imagination of the brilliant Emma J Shipley, perfectly complimenting the Ocean Blue Dwyn in this pairing

Our lovely Parasol Monkeys.

A gorgeous neutral linen with lots of colour but very understated. Would look great in a neutral interior or a

'not so' neutral interior.

Pinks, reds, blues, greens, oranges, honestly, on paper it sounds like a nightmare but this is such a beautiful print, would look lush on a hallway console. Seen here on the BO base.

Reds and pinks are such a great combo.

Our Pink Palm Print shade is made using traditional block printed techniques in India, by true artisans.

When paired with the turquoise of the BO base it just looks delicious, so summery.

Lastly the Ocean Blue Ondine base.

This combination was requested by one of our customers recently and I think it looks great!

We paired it with the timeless Porcelaine de Chine fabric from the Designers Guild for impact.

We are constantly adding new fabric finds to the website. I am also happy to source fabric for a shade if you have something you would like to match it to.

Below are some more fabrics, that would also work beautifully with the Ocean Blue colour.
